HAPPY ST. ITA’S DAY
Happy St.Ita’s Day Jan.15th. to everyone from Killeedy at home and abroad. Mass this morning and evening and parish social at 9pm in Ratheenagh. Many will visit the St.Ita’s cemetery where St.Ita is believed to be buried to do the rounds in prayer and silence. More than 1400 years after her death the tradition live on.
